PURPOSE:To form a solid lubricating agent covered film uniformly on the whole surface of a plane, by forming at least a part of the plane of a roller member in slide contact among the pocket surface of a retainer, to a plane, and attaching a solid lubricating agent on the plane. CONSTITUTION:A rolling bearing 1 is equipped with a roller member 4 between an inner race 2 and an outer race 3, and the roller member 4 is held by a retainer 10 consisting of two retainer members 5a and 5b which are joined contiguously in the axial direction. In this case, a plurality of pocket grooves 6a and 6b each of which has a trapezoidal shape on the front surface view are formed, keeping an interval in the circumferential direction, on each retainer member 5a, 5b. Accordingly, each pocket groove 6a, 6b is formed so as to have three planes, i.e., top surface and a pair or side surfaces. On three surfaces, each solid lubricating agent covered film is formed. Accordingly, a solid lubricating agent can be metallized in an angle close to the right angle on the surface of the pocket groove, and the uniform solid lubricating agent covered film can be formed. |
