<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a disc brake which hardly generate the eccentric abrasion and the partial fade phenomenon on a brake pad by forming a release part for spreading the gap between the outer peripheral surface of a piston toward the innermost part of a cylinder, on a cylinder wall. CONSTITUTION:The gap between the outer peripheral part 211 of a piston 21 in a deep groove part 242 is 0.1-5.0mm, and release parts 240 and 24 are formed at the upper and lower parts of the cylinder wall 23 of a disc brake. Accordingly, the part between the center line 82 of a cylinder 22 and the axis center line 83 of the piston 21 can be tilted (deflection angle of theta1. Accordingly, even if the torque T in the vertical direction acts on the cylinder 22, the axis center line 83 of the piston 21 can be held vertically on a disc rotor surface 111. A brake pad 121 vertically presses the disc rotor surface 111, and the pressing surface 123 of the brake pad 121 and the disc rotor surface 111 are set parallel, and the generation of the eccentric abrasion on the brake pad is prevented, and the generation of the partial fade is prevented.</p> |
