PURPOSE:To provide a dish washing machine to wash dishes, etc., accommodated in a washing chamber by flushing them with a washing water, with which the current rushing to a PTC heater, producing hot air flow for drying the dishes, etc., at the time of starting is suppressed in case the PTC heater and a blower fan are used simultaneously in the drying process. CONSTITUTION:Hot air flow is produced by a PTC heater 14 which incorporates a positive characteristic thermo-sensitive resistance element so that dishes, etc., 2 accommodated in a washing chamber 1 are dried, and the steam in the chamber 1 is sent to the outside by a blower fan 9. The arrangement further includes a thermistor 8 to sense the temp. in the chamber 1 and a control means 16 to control the program sequence consisting of washing, rinsing, and drying. In case the PTC heater 14 and blower fan 9 are used simultaneously in the drying process, the control means 16 puts the fan 9 in an intermittent operation until the first specified period of time has elapsed or the thermistor 8 senses attainment of the first specific temp. level. |
