PURPOSE:To simplify communication between plural CPUs and to improve reliability as a total system by instantaneously outputting a picture from a digital copying, device because scanner operation is not required at the time of outputting a picture such as a test pattern. CONSTITUTION:The digital copying device is provided with a main CPU 302 as a main control circuit. A ROM 304 for storing data for initial operation, a RAM 306 for storing a copying magnification, the number of copies, an operating condition, etc., inputted from an operation panel 90 and a non-volatile memory 308 for storing the total number of copies are connected to the main CPU 302. A page memory control part 314 temporarily stores picture data supplied from an external facsimile equipment in a page memory 324, a compression/ extension circuit 328 is connected between a facsimile file buffer 326 and the memory 324 and the buffer 326 is connected to a facsimile line through a MOD EL 330. |
