<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method of forming a perovskite type coating in a surface through a small number of processes, in a surface of a collector for a lead acid battery. CONSTITUTION:A Pb-Ca alloy is used to prepare a lattice body-shaped collector element, material 2 by casting. The collector element material 2, in a condition that it is immersed in a Ba (OH)2 water solution 1, is arranged in an autoclave 4. By anodizing the collector element material 2 while heated by applying a pressure to the Ba (OH)2 water solution in the autoclave 4, a perovskite type plumbate coating consisting of BaPbO3 is formed in a surface of the collector element material 2.</p> |
