PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the selection of the kind of a document, to simplify an operation and to improve the efficiency of a document preparing work by converting an instructed document as the document of a device and calling this converted document in the document in edition. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of a display device 1 such as a CRT or an LCD, an input device such as a keyboard, an external storage device 3 such as a floppy disk device and a fixed disk device, and a document preparing device 4. The document preparing device 4 has a document edition means 41, a document instruction means 44 instructing the document prepared by another document preparing device while a document is edited, a conversion means 43 converting the document instructed by this means 44 as the document of the device 4 and a calling means 42 calling the document converted by this means 43 in the document under edition. Thus, the document is automatically converted according to the selected document and a called document can be displayed. |
