PURPOSE:To measure the radioactivity count in a blood stream efficiently by mounting buffer memories of two systems, alternately changing over each temporary storage in detected data and storing the detected data at all times. CONSTITUTION:A PET device 1 starts its operation and data collection is started while data from a radiation detector 2 begin to be stored in a main memory 8. Consequently, data from the radiation detector 2 for the time required can be stored in the main memory 8. Since the buffer memories 6, 7 of two systems are changed over alternately and data from the radiation detector 2 for the fixed time are stored temporarily at all times, on the other hand, at least the data for the fixed time are stored temporarily in data from the radiation detector 2 before the time of the operation start of the PET device 1. Accordingly, the data of the radiation detector 2 before several sec after the time of the operation start of the PET device 1 can be acquired automatically at all times. |
