摘要 PURPOSE:To realize the large capacity optical packet switch circuit network with a large capacity excellent in expansion and extension performance by realizing the wavelength multiplex type optical packet switch module which switches an optical packet signal depending on a minimum wavelength multiplex number without accompanying the need for high speed processing of the optical packet signal by time division multiplex and using the module as a unit switch. CONSTITUTION:An input wavelength conversion module 201 converts a maximum of K-sets of optical packet signals received from two input optical signal lines and subjected to wavelength multiplexing. A wavelength router 30 has a periodic wavelength characteristic and two input wavelength conversion modules 201, 202 provide an output of an optical packet signal whose wavelength is changed to corresponding out buffer modules 401, 402. The output buffer modules 401, 402 convert optical packet signals of a maximum of 2K-sets subjected to wavelength multiplexing by the wavelength router into wavelength sets not in duplicate and apply wavelength multiplexing to K-sets of optical packet signals in the order of arrival and output the result to a corresponding output signal line.
