PURPOSE:To protect a card-like storage medium sticking outward from a housing by positioning the cover below the card-like storage medium to be inserted into a card socket when the cover is in an open state CONSTITUTION:A cover 3 is turned around a shaft 4 by 180 degrees so as to open. When an IC card 5 is mounted in a card case 9 in a cover 3-open state, one portion of the card 5 sticks outward from a housing 11 so as to be protected by the cover 3. When the card 5 is to be extracted out of the socket 9, on movement of a slide knob 7 provided in a recessed part 3e on the side face 3b of the cover 3 so as to be free in sliding, a lever 14 is pushed via an lever 8 and an arm 13 so that an injecting mechanism 6 is driven to release the card 5 and a socket 9. Accordingly, the card 5 can easily be extracted. Thereby, it is possible to avoid the breakage of the pin or the like of the socket 9 resulting from pulling the card 5 by fingertips. |
