PURPOSE:To handle an input wherein analytic candidates of various levels such as characters (character strings), words, and paragraphs are mixed. CONSTITUTION:A word candidate generating device 9 receives a character or character string as an input, generates a word candidate corresponding to it by referring to a word dictionary 8 once receiving a candidate generation instruction, and outputs it to a word candidate verifying device or general candidate verifying device 10. Thus, the Japanese language analyzing device is composed of the combination of the candidate generating device 9 which generates analytic candidates for words, paragraphs, and phrases on the basis of given input information and the candidate verifying device 10 which narrows down the analytic candidates on the basis of some grammatical conditions, so that the input wherein the candidates of various levels such as characters (character strings), words, and paragraphs are mixed. |
