PURPOSE:To provide an image producing machine which can prevent a toner phenomenon to a no-charging part of an image carrier sensitive layer in the starting time, by a low cost method. CONSTITUTION:An image carrier body 1 having a sensitive layer on the surface; a corona discharge unit 4 for charging to charge the sensitive layer of the image carrier body 1 to a specific polarity; an exposing means to form a static latent image to the sensitive layer of the image carrier body 1 charged to a specific polarity by the corona discharge unit 4 for charging; a developing device 6 having a developer applying means operating to the sensitive layer of the image carrier body 1, and develops the static latent image formed by the exposing means to a toner image; and a control means to control the operations of the image carrier body 1, the corona discharge unit 4 for charging, the exposing means, and the developing device 6; are provided in this image producing machine. And the control means operates the image carrier body 1 and the corona discharge unit 4 for charging when the image forming device is started, and after that, it operates the developer applying means of the developing device 6 after a specific time passed. |
