PURPOSE:To reduce the number of rotations of an image forming body required for image formation during monochrome image formation and the time required for monochrome image, formation, in a color image formation device in which a color image and a monochrome image are selected and formed. CONSTITUTION:A Scorotron charger 6, a laser write system unit 7, a cleaning means 13, a developing means 8 or 11, and a transcribing means 12 are arranged in order for a photosensitive body belt 1. The cleaning means 13 is brought into contact with the photosensitive body belt 1 and can be brought into contact with it or released from it, the cleaning means 13 is brought into contact with an image forming body, charging and light exposure are performed with transcription residual toner stuck to the photosensitive body bolt 1, thereafter, cleaning developing, and transcription are performed. |
