PURPOSE:To automatically issue again a change amount as a note when the note is used for payment of charges of purchased merchandises by providing a note issuing means which issues a note that defines the difference between the payment amount and the total amount as its nominal value. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 11 includes a note key which declares that a note is used for payment of charges. A CPU 21 detects the input of the note key by an input key signal and transfers the data substituted by a substituting key right before input of the note key to a printer 13 as the amount data. The printer 13 prints the received data on the receipt and journal forms. Then the CPU 21 calculates the difference between the payment amount and the total amount and shows this difference on a display 12 as a change amount. At the same time, the change amount is printed on the receipt and journal forms. Then a note that defines the preceding difference as its nominal value is printed on the receipt form and issued. |
