<p>PURPOSE: To provide a simple system in which the full information of a document is received from a single information source at one time, the document is printed, the information is magnetically encoded into the magnetic strip of the document, and the magnetic encoding processing executed without any error can be inspected surely. CONSTITUTION: This is a method and system for receiving all information to be printed and encoded from a single information source, printing the document, and encoding the information of the magnetic strip of the document. The document is printed with a code mechanically decodable into a form having a magnetic strip. The printed code is read by the system and used for magnetically encoding the information into the magnetic strip of the information. The system for executing this processing can include a slitter 24 which divides the printed and magnetically encoded document into sections, and a binder 27 which binds the plural documents or sections.</p> |
