PURPOSE:To reproduce an excellent image quality equal to or superior to the printing and the photographing, and to surely avoid the reduction of a development density and the transfer defect while effectively preventing the toner cloud from occurring, in the type adopting two component developer. CONSTITUTION:At the time of adopting the toner of <=6mum particle size, the static charge condition of the toner satisfies the next equation, y<=-3.5x+34.5 (where the mark (y) indicates the absolute value of the developing toner charge amount per unit area, and (x) indicates the transferring frequency). Moreover, with regard to the type provided with a developer peeling means 9 on the downstream side of the development opening 5 of a developer carrier 6, the developer G layer deposited on the surface of developer carrier 6 is normally held in contact with inner wall of the developing housing 4 or the wall surface of the mounting member 10 in the developing housing over the entire area on the shaft direction of the developer carrier 6 on the upstream side and the downstream side of the development opening 5 of the developer carrier 6. Then, with regard to the type not provided with the developer peeling means 9, the change of the developer G is accelerated by the forcedly pressing means 11. |
