PURPOSE:To eliminate the irregularity of image density and to prevent image quality from being deteriorated. CONSTITUTION:The inner space of a toner box 16 is divided into two, that is, a toner storing part 20 and a mixing part 22, by a partition board 18. A toner supply port 32 is provided at the lower part of the partition board 18, and toner 14a inside the storing part 20 is supplied to the mixing part 22 through the supply port 32. Since the opening width of the supply port 32 is set so that it may be wider at both ends than at central part, the sufficient amount of toner 14a is supplied to the mixing part 22 even when the pressure of developer 14 rises at both ends of the mixing part 22. Therefore, the sufficient amount of toner 14a is supplied to a photoreceptor drum 12 even at both ends of a developing area A. |
