PURPOSE:To provide an image-forming device which ensures the detection of remaining toner without increasing the size of a developing device. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with: a cleaner for removing and recovering residual toner sticking to the surface of a photoreceptor after the transfer of a toner image, formed by the developing device, to paper; and a detection window 710 in contact with a sliding coil spring 510 in a route R for the coil spring 51 which is arranged in the form of a closed loop between the developing device and cleaner, and which is used for carrying a part of extra toner, unsupplied to a developed image in the developing device, to the cleaner, and for carrying the residual toner, recovered by the cleaner, to the developing device; a reflecting plate 720; and an optical sensor 730. |
