PURPOSE:To improve the replacement/maintenance of a toner cartridge by integrating a developer storage part and a recovered-developer storage part, making possible the free attachment/detachment of it, and freely opening/closing the opening of a recovered-developer carry means cooperatively with the cover of a device main body. CONSTITUTION:A process cartridge is freely attached/detached to/from the device main body, and the toner cartridge 61 can be attached/detached to/from the process cartridge for the purpose of replacement. On the periphery of a waste-toner storage part 20, a toner shutter member 18 is disposed in contact with the periphery so as to cover the opening. In the use of the toner cartridge 61, the pressing means 34 of the opening/closing cover 25 slides a toner-leak prevention member 38, and consequently a waste-toner discharge opening is opened. When the cover 25 is opened to take out the toner cartridge 61, a waste-toner carry member 37 is pushed up by a carry-part-generating means 33, and the member 38 is slid by a projecting part 41, so that the waste-toner discharge opening is closed to prevent the leakage of toner. |
