PURPOSE:To predict the behavior of resin within a die by calculating the behavior of the resin at a given filling rate and then calculating the strain acting on a structure based on the inner pressure of resin for which the behavior is predicted thereby calculating the deformation of channel due to shift of the structure. CONSTITUTION:A resin 5 is injected through a gate 11 located on the underside of an island 2 into a die 10 and fills the upper and lower spaces of the island 2. Consequently, the air within the die 10 is discharged through an air bent 12 provided on the opposite side to the gate 11. Behavior of the resin is then predicted according to a fluidity prediction program while taking account of deformation of the channel at each filling stage according to a structural analytic program before the fluidity is predicted again based on the deformed channel. The driving force for deformation is determined based on the inner pressure of resin, the elasticity of structure, e.g. the island, resisting against the deformation, and the elasticity of the resin fed to the rear side of the structure when viewed from the gate side. |
