Delay circuit for univibrator

The delay circuit includes a capacitor (7) and a current source (26), and a comparator (25) which compare the voltage on one of the capacitor electrodes with a threshold voltage value (Vcomp). The comparator produces an output signal (Sigcomp) which adopts one of two logic states. The delay circuit also includes a saturable amplifier (30) linked to the capacitor. An initialisation circuit (32,28) which starts charging of the capacitor (27) by the current source (26) during a known delay interval. The change which then results in the state of the output signal (Sigcomp) of the comparator defines the end of the time delay interval.
