<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an unmanned carrier traveling method capable of changing the route of an unmanned carrier within a narrow range especially at the time of shifting its route between mutually parallel routes. CONSTITUTION:Two mutually parallel branch lines 168A, 168B inclined at a prescribed angle are laid between two parallel reflection tapes 168 and an interval between both the branch lines 168A, 168B is equal to a distance between two sets of wheels 104 of an automatic propelling driving device. When the wheel 104 on the leading side in an advancing direction arrives at the front side branch line 168A, the direction of the wheel 104 is changed in accordance with the line 168A. Simultaneously the wheel 104 on the rear side in the advance direction arrives at the rear side branch line 168B and the direction of the wheel 104 is changed in accordance with the line 168B. Then all the wheels 104 are rotated at an equal speed, so that an unmanned carrier 10 can be moved parallelly without changing its direction.</p> |
