PURPOSE:To provide the message data receiver having a function classifying the received message and storing it automatically by a message form designated by a recipient. CONSTITUTION:A control section 7 has a function of a storage control means and a feature part of the message data designated by a key entry section 6 and read out of the message memory 8 through the message data format processing is stored in a format message memory 9 as format data to set a message form used to classify and store the received message, and whether or not the received message data correspond to format data stored in the format message memory 9 is retrieved and the received message data are stored in a message memory area in the format message memory 9 based on the corresponding format data.
