<p>PURPOSE:To provide a locking mechanism whose maintenance workability is good, as to a locking mechanism in which the near side of a copier is rotated downward by drawing out a sensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:To the second side plate 120 of the second box body 12 housing the second unit 55, corresponding to the first side plate 70 of the first box body 7 housing the first unit 51, the first lever 16 which is supported rotatable at the middle part, has an engaging claw 17 at one side end, and an arm 18 at the other side end, and its rotation is regulated at a specific position being energized to the tip side of the engaging claw 17; and the second lever 19 which has one side end opposing to the arm 18 when the first and the second box bodies 7 and 12 are installed to a device frame 8, and engaged and rotated to the first side plate 70 by drawing out the first box body 7 to push the arm 18 so as to rotate the first lever 16; are provided, and when the second box body 12 is positioned parallel to the first box body 7, the engaging claw 17 is engaged and locked to a lock pin 15 provided to the device frame 8, and when the first box body 7 is drawn out, the engaging claw 17 is removed from the lock pin 15.</p> |
