PURPOSE: To simplify a protocol in the transmission and reception of a packet by transmitting the packet constituted of n-pieces of sub-packets having the same structures as a prescribed standard sub-packet with a prescribed frequency. CONSTITUTION: A frequency hopping type divides the sub-packet into six segments. In the case of the sub-packet X1, it is divided into the segments X11-X16 and the six segments are transmitted with the six different frequencies F1-F6. Then, the sub-packet of the other type can be used by associating it to the respective frequency levels of the standard sub-packet. A code is selected for at least two continuous segments of the standard sub-packet as those which are to be orthogonal even if they are in any types. Consequently collision does not occur between the sub-packets of the packet unless the segments of the sub-packets having same expansion characteristics are partially overlapped or are wholly overlapped. |
