ICON ARRANGEMENT METHOD FOR DYNAMIC ADDITION OF ICON TO DISPLAY SCREEN

PURPOSE: To provide a method for dynamically arranging an icon in a graphic user interface environment. CONSTITUTION: One of other selections for arranging the icon, which are dynamically added by an application program, is selected based on a specified environment condition that an application programmer decideds in response to the operation of a specified user. The icon which is dynamically added is arranged on a display screen by a procedure corresponding to one of the other selected selections. The icon which is dynamically added can show a container holding plural objects like the other container which can hold the executed program, data base recording, a graphic image, a word processing file or the plural objects.
