<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption power without deteriorating the reception characteristic by setting the degree of sensitivity deterioration at the time of reception in the portable radio device which is reducing the power to be supplied to the reception part at the time of reception and reducing the consumption power. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a reception signal power supply control circuit 5 which controls the power to be supplied to a reception part which accepts a signal from a base station. The error rate of the reception data accepted by a reception part 3 is detected by an error detector 71. The detected error rate is converted into voltage by an ER/V converter 91. A comparator 51 compares it with the reference value and a current control part 52 controls the current to be supplied to the reception part 3. According to the actual reception state, the supplied current can be controlled automatically. Thus, the consumption power can be reduced by reducing the current as much as possible in the range capable of surely receiving a signal from the base station.</p> |
