PURPOSE:To provide an automatic format change function of calculating and setting format data so as to automatically hold the layout of a form when the vertical length and the horizontal length of the form of a document are changed. CONSTITUTION:In a layout maintaining information control part 12, the calculation and the setting of line interval, character interval character size and margin value, and further, the calculation and the setting of the base point of an area, the size and data shape are automatically performed so as to maintain layout when the longitudinal length and the transverse length of a form are changed and when the start location of an oblique ruled line is designated. In a format layout temporary display control part 15, the temporary display of the layout of the document by the format data which is temporarily set in the layout maintaining information control part 12 is automatically performed. |
