<p>PURPOSE:To simplify handling and to reduce the number of operations by providing a means for controlling the recording of input information from an external equipment to a recording medium when a control signal is input to an input detection terminal part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording/reproducing device constitutes a home VTR incorporating a tuner for general broadcasting. Then, a TV is connected to the magnetic recording/reproducing device and at the same time the device is provided with a first input terminal part (first skirt) 10 which is capable of connecting various kinds of external equipment. Then, the video and audio signal from the external equipment can be automatically recorded by an external REC button (external input selection means) 15, thus eliminating the need for recording operation and channel switching and simplifying handling and reducing the number of operations.</p> |
