<p>PURPOSE:To improve the uniformity of a magnetic toner thin layer and picture quality by controlling the magnetic force, angle of repose and bulk density of the magnetic toner to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:Slippage of an image caused by uneven sleeve rotation on the image is generated since the sleeve is stabilized when torque to rotate a developing sleeve 1 increase. It is necessary to set the magnetic force of an one component magnetic toner in the magnetic field of 1000oersted to 10-650gauss to prevent the uneven rotation of the sleeve. And the corrected bulk density is set to 0.25-0.40 to prevent the thin layer ununiformity caused by the clogging in the controlling part by the magnetic blade. Further, it is necessary to set the angle of repose to 30-45 deg. to form the uniform thin layer. The corrected bulk density and angle of repose of the magnetic toner are adjusted by the particle diameter of the toner and the kind and the quantity to be added of a post treating agent to be mixed with the toner.</p> |
