PURPOSE:To provide a character image generating device preventing the generation of the deviation of images, quality degradation in small character-sizes and unevenness of horizontal line widths. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a storage means 10, a working means 12 having a storage part storing character images and a control means 11 including a coordinate value fetching part 1 fetching plural coordinate values from the storage means 10, a coordinate value transformation part 2 transforming plural coordinate values into values corresponding to sizes of character images to be generated and a character image generating part 3 generating character images while performing painting-outs using an exclusive OR operation with a black image and storing them in a storage part. Moreover, the character image generating part 3 has a decision part 4 deciding a point being on an outline which becomes the object of painting-outs even number times by the exclusive OR operation and an inversion part 5 inverting a decided point by the decision part 4 after the exclusive OR operation with the black image is performed. |
