PURPOSE:To achieve path guide up to a guide point by providing a storage for storing position information, etc., on a road and a crossing, an input device for entering the position of a desired guide point at a departure point and on a map, and an operation processing device for searching for a path reaching a guide point from the departure point. CONSTITUTION:A touch panel 8 of an input device 1 is just like a transparent operation panel which is superposed on a display 2 and data are entered by a menu being displayed 2 via a transparent operation panel or by touching an arbitrary point. Also, information required for guide course setting is displayed 2 as information inputted to the device 1. Then, after the operation processing 4, for example a path leading to a destination is outputted as guide information and a CRT 18, a liquid crystal display 19, etc., are adopted. Further, for example, a floppy disk, a CD-ROM, an optical disk, a magnetic tape, an IC card, and an optical card are used as storages 3, thus achieving a proper guide to a conspicuous point. |
