PURPOSE:To prevent drop of the battery performance by eliminating risk of shortage of the air and establishing a uniform supply of the air. CONSTITUTION:With a separator 4 interposed, a positive electrode catalyst layer 3 and an air dispersion layer 1 are installed on the outside of a negative electrode active material 5 provided in the central part so that a power generating element is formed. which is accommodated in a positive electrode can 6, whose opening is sealed with a seal ring 9, and thus an element cell is accomplished. An air intake hole 12 is provided at the peripheral edge of the positive electrode terminal part 11 of this element cell while an air passage 10 is furnished in the seal ring 9, wherein the two 12, 10 are in communication with the air dispersion layer 1. Thereby taking-in of the air can be performed stably. |
