PURPOSE:To surely discriminate it to be abnormal when even one of parallel signal lines is broken or in short-circuit by discriminating it to be a faulty when a logic level represented by a parallel signal in a prescribed bit number is lower than a set criterion for a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 67 receives input data from a buffer 62 and applies luminance data processing to the input data and discriminates whether or not the data after the luminance data processing are less than a fault criterion. For example, A 4-th bit from the most significant bit (MSB) is used for a fault criterion value, and when data from a parallel signal line 5 are more than the criterion, that is, 10(HEX), it is discriminated to be normal and the original program is restored and when the parallel signal is less than the 10(HEX), it is discriminated to be abnormal (disconnection or the like) on the condition that the state continues for a prescribed time and the CPU 67 energizes an alarm device 7 via an output port 65 to allow the device 7 to raise an alarm. |
