PURPOSE:To reduce an installation area, that is, a projecting area, in a multicolor image forming device in which a plurality of electrostatic recording units are arranged in a straight line. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic recording units Y, C, M, and B are arranged in a straight line on and along an endless-belt carry means 48, and electrified toner images of different colors are formed on recording paper carried by the endless belt carry means 48. A recording paper feed part 82 is arranged under the endlessbelt carry means 48, on the side where the carry means 48 introduces the recording paper. The recording paper which has passed the electrostatic recording units is carried to a fixing unit 62, on the side where the carry means 48 ejects the recording paper, to fix the electrified toner images onto the recording paper. Then, the recording paper is carried to a paper ejection tray 46a, situated above the fixing unit 62, to be ejected there. |
