PURPOSE:To obtain the optical space transmission method and the optical space transmission system in which the effect of a bypassed or reflected transmission signal from a satellite is avoided and the signal is normally sent. CONSTITUTION:A signal is sent by optical space transmission among terminals T1-T6 sending a data signal from data terminals D1-D6 to space and satellites S1, S2 installed to a structure such as a ceiling. In the optical space transmission system making data transmission among the plural data terminals D1-D6, the terminals T1-T6 generate an optical pulse at a rising and a trailing of the data signal and sends the pulse to the satellites S1, S2. Upon the receipt of the optical pulse, the satellites S1, S2 detect the trailing of the optical pulse to generate an optical pulse with a prescribed width from the trailing point of time of the received optical pulse and to send the generated pulse to the terminals T1-T6 within its own transmission coverage area. Thus, the optical pulse sent from the satellites S1, S2 is sent with a delay of one-set of the optical pulse sent from the terminals T1-T6 so as to avoid the overlapping of the optical pulses. |
