The cam system consists in combination in one part, a housing (1) a shaft (3) that is rotary driven and axially traverses one or two drum cams (7) whose cylindrical surface has cut in it a continuous non-circumferential grooved pathway (70). A roller (41), is solidly attached to the housing (1) which rolls in the groove (70) or the groove of the other two cams and another roller (51) rolls in this same groove (70) or that of the other two cams, is joined to the part (10) which is to be displaced transversally so that it is joined by there transmission units to the other roller (41). This allows an angular movement of the one or other of the cams (7) in relation to one of the rollers (41,51) to produce a relative longitudinal movement between one of the rollers (41,51) and the cam (7). By rotating the roller (41) about the shaft axis in relation to the cam (7) the distance moved longitudinally can be altered. |
