PURPOSE:To provide an automatic sampler provided with a function to prevent a solvent in a sample container from evaporating without using a cover or a seal. CONSTITUTION:An automatic sampler is provided with a container setting stand 1 in which a plurality of containers containing a sample, etc., are set, a closing chamber 4 to cover the container setting stand 1, and a vapor supplying means to supply vapor to the closed chamber 4. The open parts, etc., of the sample containers 2 in the container setting stand 1 are sealed by the vapor by introducing the vapor generated by the vapor supplying means into the closed chamber 4 in which the container setting stand 1 is stored and that makes the containers 2 be put in the same state in which the containers 2 are respectively covered with a cover. |
