PURPOSE:To provide a backward travel controller for an electric motor vehicle in which substantially stable backward vehicle speed is obtained despite the variation of traveling conditions such as the dead weight of the vehicle, a sloping road, etc. CONSTITUTION:Deviation calculating means 46 in motor drive control means 33 outputs a deviation 46a of a backward traveling vehicle speed 45a detected by backward travel vehicle speed detecting means 45 and a target backward travel vehicle speed 44a. Motor driving condition setting means 42 so output a drive or regenerative torque command value 42b based on the deviation 46a that the vehicle speed at the time backward traveling becomes the target backward travel vehicle speed. Motor drive signal generating means 43 generates motor drive signals (a)-(f) based on the torque command value, controls the operation of an inverter 34, and regulates power to be supplied to a motor M. |
