The device has at least two strands of wire which are twisted together whose distal ends are deformable and are designed barb shaped. Alternatively, the marking unit may be a continuous strand of wire, which is bent in the middle. Both wire halves are twisted together in such a manner, that there are sections of large twisting and sections of small twisting. The sections with larger twisting (5) have mutual turns of the two wire strands per 10 mm twisting stretch, and the sections of smaller twisting have a mutual turn per 8 mm twisting stretch. The distal end sections of the wire strands are deformed, protruding arc shaped from the common twisting axis.
