Gas, water and sewerage pipes and telecommunication and power cables (7,8) are laid on brackets (4) secured either to a pipe carrier (38) or by direct welding to the inner surface (6) of the double wall (10), which consists of outer and inner pipe sections (40,41) arranged concentrically and sepd. by eight spacers (39). To ensure improved sealing at favourable cost of mfr. and assembly the pipe sections are composed of high-density polyethylene. The cavities (10') in the double wall may be filled with water or air according to application.
