AC motor drive supply circuit

A supply circuit arrangement for driving an AC motor from a DC source and including switching devices for controlled feed of the DC source supply voltage onto the phase-windings of the AC motor is designed-simplified in both the control and in the switching-devices, as well as allowing the motor itself to be simplified, i.e. the AC motor used is a two-phase motor with a main phase winding (3) and an auxiliary phase winding (2), and the switching devices (4-7) include electronic double-throw switches (4, 5 or 6, 7) for pole-switching of the main- or auxiliary-winding (3, 2) connection terminals.
