Differentiated carbon analyser

The equipment contains a specimen dispenser, a quartz glass analysis tube contg. a thermoelement, two ovens and an NDIR-CO2 detector with connected integrator. The analyser tube is divided into two zones, namely a pyrolysis and catalysis zone, which are connected via a constriction (6). The ovens are a pyrolysis oven (2) and a catalyser oven (3). The specimen is introduced into the analysis tube via a specimen lock with a specimen boat. A radiation absorber (7) for radiation in the infrared to ultraviolet range is arranged in the constriction. The catalyser oven (3) and the pyrolysis oven (2) lie adjacent to each other with no thermal gaps. The catalyser oven has an opening for a halogen lamp and electrical leads.
