Detecting deviations in position of cutting piece from rotary saw blades

The two exactly opposite-facing pressure nozzles (4) with the same ID are pointed towards the opposite facing radial surfaces of the piece to be cut (1). The nozzles are evenly placed at right angles to the radial surfaces. Gas at excess pressure is supplied and deviations in the nominal position or a fracture of the piece being cut are determined by the difference in pressure recorded by the measuring element. The nozzles are made of glass capillary tubes, mounted on a support with a low thermal coefficient of expansion. The nozzles are mounted on blocks of silica gel glass or alkali-free borosilicate glass.
