Wax cast prodn. from dental plaster model for crowns and inlays

Prepn. of a wax cast, using a dental plaster model, involves: (a) application of a release agent to the plaster model, (b) application onto this surface of a coating material which leaves no ash after burning at 700 deg C, and (c) application of wax melt onto this surface.
