Guide blade mechanism for rotary sheet printing machine

The rotary printing machine is convertible from one-side to two-side printing. It operates on the principle of rear edge turning. The guide blade (9) is associated with a storage drum (4), mounted in front of the turning drum (1). In the sheet feed direction, the guide blade is fitted directly behind the common tangent point of the two drums. Its guide face (10) contains a tangential section (6), pref. behind a curved section, typically a convex section (13).
