Beneficial insects are distributed on sheets or bases of cultures by a dosing unit (16) for beneficial insects with /- 1 outlet (24) and in the form of a container with an air pressure line (30), with a fan at the end, communicating at the base with the outlet opening. A screw feed (22) may be installed at the bottom of the container. A visible scale may be provided for optical control of the dosing procedure.
