Intermediate coupling for joining rotary components

The coupling joins components whose axes of rotation are offset. It incorporates intermediate components, turning via bearings on a common axis in relation to each other. Lubricant is supplied to the bearings from a reservoir. The bearings are formed by rollers in aligned annular grooves in the components. On each outer intermediate component (132) there are edges (158,160) on both sides, extending radially inwards and right over the bearing (156) and beyond it. These prevent the bearing running dry due to the discharge of lubricant under centrifugal force. Each bearing can consist of two adjacent rings of rollers. The outer halves of the latter an be held in place by the groove sidewalls in the outer component, and their inner ones by a rib on the inner component between the rings.
