Fully electronic, one-pole switch for DC or AC voltages

Two antiparallel similar transistorised circuit paths are provided on the ringing lead at the communication terminal (3) for switching the half waves of a calling a.c. voltage current. Each branch has two complementary transistors (T1.1, T2.1 or T1.2, T2.2) which are switched through their emitters and a Schottky diode (G1.1, G1.2) to a node (3) in one case and in the other through resistances (R) to the collectors concerned. Further transistors (T3.1, T3.2) are used to block the paths.
