Synthetic cellulosic fibres modified with polymeric amine compounds

Modified cellulose fibres (I) are obtd. from cellulose solns. (II) or viscose solns. (III) by adding a polymeric amine cpd. (IV) with a mol. wt. of more than 1000 contg. prim., sec. or tert. amine gps. in side chains, and then spinning from the soln. (II) or spinning by the viscose spinning method in the case of (III). Also claimed are a process for dyeing or printing the modified fibre materials (I) with water-soluble textile dyes (pref. contg. fibre-reactive gps.) using a dyestuff soln. contg. no added electrolyte salt or alkali and yarn, woven fabric and knitted fabric made from (I).
