<p>A vehicle steering lock has a casing 1 for mounting on the steering wheel 5 having front track 13 and a rear track 13' separated by an arched mounting hole 10, a lock cylinder 11 at the front, and a steel ball 131' supported on a spring in a hole within the rear track. A constraint bar 3 is fixed to the casing for contacting the instrument board. A slide block 2 is made to slide between the front and rear tracks and is guided by a guide screw on the casing. The slide block is provided with a recessed hole 22 which receives the latch bolt 110 of the lock cylinder when the steering lock is locked or the steel ball when the steering lock is unlocked. <IMAGE></p> |
